Director Nursing Research, PhD Columbia MD

Job Description
PRIOR EXPERIENCE: Approximately ten years or more of progressively responsible job related experience that demonstrates a record of effective leadership, successful research/evidence based practice, competent educator, and clinical expert.

PATIENT CARE: Assists with patient care by establishing and/or monitoring the techniques, policies and procedures used by those who deliver care.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR WORK OF OTHERS: Plans, assigns and follows up on the work of three or more other employees but does not have the authority to hire or fire them.

EDUCATION: Doctoral degree in nursing or related health care field from an accredited educational program. Knowledge of nursing theory and research.

SALARY: $170k to $200k plus benefits
