Please save a life of a very deserving animal!! Call the shelter at (985) 446-3532 or e-mail lpas@lafourchegov.org to save a life of an animal. If you are interested in adopting, please come into the shelter and fill out an application or fill out our online adoption application. New adopters are responsible for bringing their new pet to the vet for a health check and vaccinations within 3 days. An adoption fee of $30.00 for male dogs and $35.00 for female dogs must be paid at the time of adoption. If the the dog is over 6 months of age, the new adopter has 30 days to have the animal spayed or neutered. If the animal is a puppy you have UNTIL it is 6 months of age to have it spayed or neutered. The Parish is currently providing a $50.00 off certificate to any Lafourche Parish Veterinarian for this procedure. All animals MUST be spayed or neutered. NO EXCEPTIONS!
