Beagle - Small - Young - Female - Dog - Abby

Abby was in north Louisiana and one of our volunteers saw her run across the highway in front of a large SUV and get hit! He pulled over and ran to her aid, rushing her to the nearest vet. She had fractured a vertebrae and was unable to walk or control her bodily functions. Our dedicated ARFangelsdid not give up and nursed her through her injuries. Now she plays with her foster dog-siblings and is beginning to trust humans again. Abby will need a loving, patient home willing to accept her shy demeanor and work with her to help her regain her confidence. We would not recommend a home with small children or lots of action.
