Basset Hound - Medium - Senior - Female - Dog - Kayah
Description
Kayah had been left behind at her house by her previous owners who had to move and could not bring her. Her previous owner was going everyday to make sure she had food and water but did not know what to do about Kayah. She knew if she brought her to the shelter she would be immediately euthanized. A senior dog has almost NO chance at a shelter. Therefore, My Heart's Desire stepped in and took this beautiful girl to give her a second chance. Kayah is visually impaired, it appears she can see shadows. She is good with other dogs and would probably be ok with children. This girl still has a lot of life in her. She is current on vaccinations, we have an appointment at the vet to verify that she is spayed and to have her heartworm tested..
