If interested in adopting please come into the shelter and fill out an application or fill out our online adoption application. New adopters are responsible for bringing their new pet to the vet for a health check and vaccinations within 3 days. An adoption fee of $15.00 for male cats and $25.00 for female cats must be paid at the time of adoption. If the cat is over 6 months of age, the new adopter has 30 days to have the cat spayed or neutered. If the cat is a kitten, the new adopter has UNTIL the kitten is 6 months of age to have it spayed or neutered. The Parish is currently providing a $50.00 off certificate to be used at any Lafourche Parish Veterinarian for this procedure. All animals adopted MUST be spayed or neutered. NO EXCEPTIONS!
